Camp Facility

Our campsite, located at Chabad of Greater Dayton is uniquely suited for a great camp experience. The spacious indoor and outdoor facilities will enable us to provide campers with summer fun, whatever the weather outside. A specially designed preschool playground, and air-conditioned rooms and common areas all add to the Camp Gan Israel summer experience.

A beautiful play area/outdoor classroom named the Mitzvah Wonderland fills the backyard. The cornerstone is a natural area where the children will be able to explore vegetable and animal life. They are also able to play in an unstructured area.

 

 

Our state of the art preschool room is filled with toys and furniture especially designed for young children. The children can choose areas of dramatic play, manipulatives, block area, art  and a sensory table. The children can practice their cooking and baking skills in our fully stocked "kitchen". With such a wide array of centers, each child can discover their talents.

 

The camp swimming location is a beautiful pool at a local residence. There is an outdoor swimming pool, which will be monitored by trained and licensed aquatics professionals.

 

Chabad is located at 2001 Far Hills Avenue, in the heart of Oakwood.
